Redding California Police Remove Homeless Man From Church Sanctuary Grounds

A homeless man seeking shelter on  Pilgrim Congregational Church's property was removed from the premises, not by the church, but by Redding California police.

If you agree that homelessness is not a crime please take the time to call the Redding Police Department at (530) 225 - 4200 and ask for Redding Police Chief Robert Paoletti.

If the Church's of Redding are not allowed to help the homeless, who can ?

Someone had to have called the police. I doubt they just showed up at random. It seems pretty odd that a homeless person would be turned away by a church. Aren't the homeless one of the mission fields of the church?
